The classically trained Indian singer and accomplished psychedelic trance DJ is now making waves as a producer.

Signed to UK-based label Aphid Records, Psibindi has had the privilege of working closely in the studio with psy-trance maestro, Aphid Moon, and multi talented producer, Mechanimal. Together they have created three successful EPs, Psychic Traveller, Binary Star and Elliptic, all of which have been critically acclaimed across the psy-scene and are being played at some of the most vibrant dance floors across the world.

Armed with a spectrum of game-changing projects, Psibindi is ready to take 2017 by storm.

The sonic diva plans to re-launch her solo singing project ‘Rena’, with exciting new material. She has also dived into the studio with top music producer Hannah V and the result is sure to pleasantly surprise!

With a new Psibindi EP in the pipeline and a release on Aphid Moon’s forthcoming VA, the artist has been busy cooking up some sparkling soundscapes.

From the studio to the stage: her stunning live performance at Hungary’s Ozora Festival 2016 had a large crowd of dance-hungry people stomping to their heart’s content last summer. She then kicked up a storm at Boom Town Festival’s Tribe of Frog Stage.

Thanks to her powerful presence in the underground electronic music scene, she’s also been snapped up by new international agency, Marvel Bookings.

When she’s not behind the decks, or in the studio she keeps herself busy as a representative for technology giant, Native Instruments, helping run their bi-monthly Native Meetup events in London.

Meanwhile Psibindi continues to combine her passion for both electronic ambient sounds and ethnic vocals with artist Pete Ardron on his album, Unexpected Pleasures. The pair joined forces to launch their new live set, which was performed to critical acclaim for New Year’s Eve event, Boogie Woogie.

Rena joined top music artists Jay Sean, Naughty Boy and Hannah V on the TV channel London360 to discuss UK Asian Artists in Mainstream Music and How Music can Help People.

Meanwhile, she continues to push the boundaries for female artists in the music industry as founder of global platform, Psy-Sisters, which celebrates its 5th birthday in 2017!
